^ yeah, the new Klonoa is a remastered version with widescreen support. The cut scenes are done with in-game graphics while the PS1 version were FMV.
Klonoa has just been confirmed for a US release with additional controls schemes including motion controls via Wiimote Nunchuk, sideways Wii Remote, GameCube, and Classic Controller.
Capcom’s doing their best and really pushing themselves to try and get Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Generation of Heroes over. I’ve played TvC and it’s a definitely a must for hardcore fans of the Capcom fighting series.
It may not be Marvel vs Capcom, but you do get to use some interesting characters. Like Casshern for example, which is my main right now, and for the first time he gets put in to a video game - and a fighting genre at that! \/

Call of Duty: World at War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation 2. The story focuses on the final battles of World War II in the Pacific and Eastern Europe involving the United States, the Empire of Japan, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany. It is told from the perspectives of a Marine Raider and a Red Army soldier, and is based on several historical battles, including the Makin Island raid, the Battle of Peleliu, and the Battle of Berlin.
Developers: Treyarch, n-Space (Nintendo DS), Rebellion (PlayStation 2) Publisher: Activision Genre: First-person shooter Mode: Single-player, multiplayer, co-op Rating: ESRB: M, BBFC: 15, OFLC: MA15+ Release dates: NA November 11, 2008 EU November 14, 2008 AUS November 12, 2008
Gameplay World at War is based on the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine and will feature a more mature theme than previous installments in the series. Swimming will be introduced to the series. While in water, the player cannot sprint and will only move at half speed. Flamethrowers, introduced in Call of Duty: United Offensive, will appear alongside flammable environments. Vehicles (i.e. Tanks) will also be reintroduced in this edition of Call of Duty. The game will be more open-ended than previous games in the series, as there will be multiple ways to complete objectives.
Features World at War will have cooperative gameplay with up to two players via split screen on consoles, or four players online, for the first time in the franchise. In addition, the Wii version will also feature splitscreen multiplayer. All console versions of the game will use a perk system similar to that in Call of Duty 4. Activision has also confirmed that vehicles will be usable in multiplayer. Six multiplayer modes have been announced including team deathmatch and capture the flag, among others.
A special online co-op mode involving Nazi zombies is unlocked once the player completes the single player campaign. In it, up to four players must attempt to defend themselves from limitless waves of undead Nazi soldiers. With each kill and successful hit, players earn points that can be used to purchase weapons and fortifications to further defend themselves. That sounds a lot like Left 4 Dead. \:D/
New Theaters of Operation: Players fight as U.S. Marines and Russian soldiers facing enemies that employ lethal new tactics and know no fear, or no mercy. Epic conflicts are fought on multiple fronts, playing through the climactic battles of WWII in the grittiest, most chaotic and cinematically intense experience to date.
Wii Zapper Support: Call of Duty: World at War fully supports Nintendo's innovative and unique Zapper controller through a customized game setting that allows the entire game, including multi-player, to be played with the Zapper. This customized setting adds a new way to play by incorporating unique gestures and button layouts that add to the Call of Duty experience.
Squadmate Mode: This single-screen cooperative mode lets players team up to play alongside friends and family. At any moment, a second Wii Remote can be activated, giving the second player their own aiming crosshair to provide cover and added firepower while fighting alongside their Squadmate.
Combat-Look: Includes “Combat-Look” technology – as the player runs through the game's diverse environments and topographies, the vertical line of sight discreetly adapts to keep players focused on the battlefield without having to radically adjust for uphill/downhill grade variations in the terrain. This system still allows complete freedom and mobility for targeting and results in a smoother and more playable Wii experience than ever before.
With all the building hype, let's have a thread about the new James Bond 007 game, Quantum of Solace. I've played the short PC Demo, and it's definitely a solid James Bond title with some genre-defining features, most notably, the cover system which makes you feel more like a 00 Agent.
Platforms: All Launch Date: November 4, 2008 ESRB: T (Teen) – Violence, Some Blood Game Type: First Person Shooter/Action Players: 1-4 Developer: Beenox Publisher: Activision
Quantum of Solace is the first James Bond game this generation, and will be based on the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. The game is powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine, and is developed by Beenox who also worked the PC version. Most of the game play will be in a first-person fashion with the ability to switch to a third-person view during cover system or quick time events.
The Wii version of the game will have four players split-screen local multiplayer, exclusive to the system, in addition to the online multiplayer. With this version, you will be able to create your own character. Players may choose to use the unique Wii Remote and Nunchuk control scheme to seamlessly target and engage their enemies or they can leverage the Wii Zapper to truly step into the shoes of James Bond.

I've got a couple music videos from Wii Music up on YouTube. The first one was sent by underground rap artist, Kenji Astro, previously known as RSunis, and this is his version of Earth Wind & Fire's "September": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q7WIjIs9q0&fmt=18
I hope you guys realize that DSi is only in Japan until late next year right? You'll have all the time to play Guitar Hero On Tour/Decades, Tony Hawk's Motion, and any other Slot 2-based games. But even then, they'll still be putting the DS Lite on the shelves next to the DSi as long as there's still demand for it next year.
Anyway, people are waiting in line for one in Japan right now!
So far, they said they've been testing all types of SD cards. Current flash cards of all kinds no longer work. There's also a firmware update that you can get right on the spot.
Also! They've just announced a brand new Art Style series for DSi. You know how much I love Art Style ~<3
Amazon's having another PS3 Gold Box Event start midnight tonight!

Nice, I'd like the first deal to be Bioshock and the second deal to be Dead Space (already own the PC version but would like to try on PS3). I could really use that PlayStation Eye and the official Sony component cables too. \:D/
Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands (Telltale Games, 1 player, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older - Alcohol Reference, Crude Humor, Mild Cartoon Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes, 1,000 Wii Points): Rock and roll! Hurting for cash, Strong Bad sets out to dominate the “Battle Royale of the Bands.” Can he rule the stage and win the big prize? Or will he be drowned out by the competition? Art Style: ROTOHEX™ (Nintendo, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points): Use colored triangular panels to create a vibrant mosaic of stained glass in Art Style: ROTOHEX. As triangles fall from the top of the screen, rotate them to group six panels of the same color and create a matching hexagon, or HEX. Once the HEX has been formed, it will disappear, allowing the existing panels to shift and more panels to fill the playing field. A clear-cut goal and two different styles of intuitive controls allow you to focus solely on the game play-which is vital, as the playing field will be full of panels before you know it. With multiple modes (unlock more as you progress further in SOLO mode), special item panels at your disposal, and the ability to play cooperatively or competitively with a friend, there will always be another HEX to create. Earthworm Jim (Sega Genesis, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone - Animated Violence, 800 Wii Points): Jim was an ordinary earthworm who did very earthworm-like things, such as flee from crows and eat dirt. One day, during an outer space fight, a suit drops to Earth and falls around Jim. It mutates him into a large and intelligent (at least by earthworm standards) superhero. Play as Jim in this Sega Genesis classic. When Jim learns of the evil plans of Psy-Crow and Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, he decides to rescue Princess What's-Her-Name. Run, gun, swing on hooks by your head and launch cows at the interesting characters you meet along the way, such as Major Mucus, Chuck and Fifi, Evil the Cat, and Bob the Killer Goldfish. It's safe to say that Wii Music, the newest installment to the Wii game series, is turning some heads. There are already some reviews available. Do read them below and enjoying the videos.
System: Wii No. of players: up to 4 players Release Date: Oct 20, 2008 Publisher: Nintendo Developer: Nintendo Genre: Music ESRB Rating: E Overview (Excerpt):
• It’s easy to play improv jams. Musicians in your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart’s content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. No matter what you do, Wii Music automatically transforms your improv stylings into great music. There are no mistakes—just playing for the pure joy of playing.
• Send your band-jam recordings to Wii Friends who have Wii Music. They’ll see your Mii™ band members, your players’ improv styles and your instrument selections. They can watch your recordings, or play over parts of your song, then send their modified recording back to you. Improv jams can be sent back and forth over WiiConnect24 and changed again and again.
Wii Music is like a unique tool that lets you experience more than 60 musical instruments by simply using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. You don't need to be able to read musical scores or use complicated techniques to play the music.
"Why shouldn't people who like music, but find playing instruments difficult, be able to perform music just by letting their feelings take control and simply waving the controller and pushing a few buttons to the rhythm?" With this goal in mind, we created Wii Music, which is not quite a game and not quite an instrument. I hope that as you play, you will truly understand the joy of performing and develop a greater passion for music!
Please feel free to use Wii Music any way you want, such as developing a full band performance on your own or playing along with your family and friends!
~ Shigeru Miyamoto, General Producer
So there you have it, straight from the man himself. Words could not express it enough. Music is a way of expression. You won't be able to feel it unless you have an open mind and lose yourself in the play. ..How would you express yourself? I will leave that up to you - the player.
