To celebrate the release of The Conduit, the most anticipated first-person shooter for Wii, I've produced a brand new track based on the main theme from the game. It's an energetic, bass-pounding, melodic Trance track that I usually do. As some may already know via my Twitter, my tribute has been submitted to ACIDPlanet.com's The Conduit Remix Contest.
^ yeah, the new Klonoa is a remastered version with widescreen support. The cut scenes are done with in-game graphics while the PS1 version were FMV.
Klonoa has just been confirmed for a US release with additional controls schemes including motion controls via Wiimote Nunchuk, sideways Wii Remote, GameCube, and Classic Controller.
Capcom’s doing their best and really pushing themselves to try and get Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Generation of Heroes over. I’ve played TvC and it’s a definitely a must for hardcore fans of the Capcom fighting series.
It may not be Marvel vs Capcom, but you do get to use some interesting characters. Like Casshern for example, which is my main right now, and for the first time he gets put in to a video game - and a fighting genre at that! \/

I've got a couple music videos from Wii Music up on YouTube. The first one was sent by underground rap artist, Kenji Astro, previously known as RSunis, and this is his version of Earth Wind & Fire's "September": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q7WIjIs9q0&fmt=18
Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands (Telltale Games, 1 player, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older - Alcohol Reference, Crude Humor, Mild Cartoon Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes, 1,000 Wii Points): Rock and roll! Hurting for cash, Strong Bad sets out to dominate the “Battle Royale of the Bands.” Can he rule the stage and win the big prize? Or will he be drowned out by the competition? Art Style: ROTOHEX™ (Nintendo, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points): Use colored triangular panels to create a vibrant mosaic of stained glass in Art Style: ROTOHEX. As triangles fall from the top of the screen, rotate them to group six panels of the same color and create a matching hexagon, or HEX. Once the HEX has been formed, it will disappear, allowing the existing panels to shift and more panels to fill the playing field. A clear-cut goal and two different styles of intuitive controls allow you to focus solely on the game play-which is vital, as the playing field will be full of panels before you know it. With multiple modes (unlock more as you progress further in SOLO mode), special item panels at your disposal, and the ability to play cooperatively or competitively with a friend, there will always be another HEX to create. Earthworm Jim (Sega Genesis, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone - Animated Violence, 800 Wii Points): Jim was an ordinary earthworm who did very earthworm-like things, such as flee from crows and eat dirt. One day, during an outer space fight, a suit drops to Earth and falls around Jim. It mutates him into a large and intelligent (at least by earthworm standards) superhero. Play as Jim in this Sega Genesis classic. When Jim learns of the evil plans of Psy-Crow and Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, he decides to rescue Princess What's-Her-Name. Run, gun, swing on hooks by your head and launch cows at the interesting characters you meet along the way, such as Major Mucus, Chuck and Fifi, Evil the Cat, and Bob the Killer Goldfish. It's safe to say that Wii Music, the newest installment to the Wii game series, is turning some heads. There are already some reviews available. Do read them below and enjoying the videos.
System: Wii No. of players: up to 4 players Release Date: Oct 20, 2008 Publisher: Nintendo Developer: Nintendo Genre: Music ESRB Rating: E Overview (Excerpt):
• It’s easy to play improv jams. Musicians in your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart’s content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. No matter what you do, Wii Music automatically transforms your improv stylings into great music. There are no mistakes—just playing for the pure joy of playing.
• Send your band-jam recordings to Wii Friends who have Wii Music. They’ll see your Mii™ band members, your players’ improv styles and your instrument selections. They can watch your recordings, or play over parts of your song, then send their modified recording back to you. Improv jams can be sent back and forth over WiiConnect24 and changed again and again.
Wii Music is like a unique tool that lets you experience more than 60 musical instruments by simply using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. You don't need to be able to read musical scores or use complicated techniques to play the music.
"Why shouldn't people who like music, but find playing instruments difficult, be able to perform music just by letting their feelings take control and simply waving the controller and pushing a few buttons to the rhythm?" With this goal in mind, we created Wii Music, which is not quite a game and not quite an instrument. I hope that as you play, you will truly understand the joy of performing and develop a greater passion for music!
Please feel free to use Wii Music any way you want, such as developing a full band performance on your own or playing along with your family and friends!
~ Shigeru Miyamoto, General Producer
So there you have it, straight from the man himself. Words could not express it enough. Music is a way of expression. You won't be able to feel it unless you have an open mind and lose yourself in the play. ..How would you express yourself? I will leave that up to you - the player.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes (タツノコ VS. CAPCOM CROSS GENERATION OF HEROES) is an upcoming crossover fighting game featuring characters from the Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production and video game company Capcom. Capcom has stated that the game will "probably not" be released outside of Japan due to licensing issues.
But we can still feast our eyes on some of the videos uploaded on GameTrailers and YouTube. Here's the latest one, JAMMA Show Trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/41713.html
You'll see that they've now introduced Otoha from the Karas anime, PTX-40A from Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Morrigan from the Night Warriors (Darkstalkers) series, and so on..
Here's the official Japanese trailer from last week which introduced new characters such as Batsu from Legion of Heroes (Rival Schools), Souki from Dawn of Dreams, Doronjo from Yatterman, Rock Volnutt (Mega Man Volnutt) from Rockman DASH (Mega Man Legends): http://www.gametrailers.com/player/40897.html
It introduced characters such as Gatchaman, Casshern, Tekkaman from Tatsunoko studio, along with of course Ryu, Chun Li, Batsu, Morrigan from Capcom.
Japanese gamers are going buck-wild over Tatsunoko vs. Capcom [Wii]. Most presumably, It deserves as much attention as Super Smash Bros. Brawl [Wii]. This is yet another one of those crazy hardcore 2D fighting games that will not be available anywhere else but the Japanese arcades and Japanese Wii system. The Wii version features new elements, including the option for simplified Wiimote-based controls (also supports full controls via the Classic Controller), special mini-games (including four-player bonus modes), and an original character, Hakushon Daimaou the genie, as a Wii exclusive.
Art Style: CUBELLO (Nintendo, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 600 Wii Points): Art Style: CUBELLO mixes the strategy and feel of a traditional puzzle game with the precision and reflexes required in a shooter. As each stage begins, various colored cubes form into one large object called a Cubello, which floats and rotates as you play. Launch additional cubes from your magazine and try to connect four or more of the same color, removing them from the Cubello and eventually leaving only its core. Take on the challenge of either Stage or Endless mode and watch what happens when Bonus Time is activated. The straightforward controls and goal ensure that anyone can play, while offering enough depth that even advanced players will find themselves quickly addicted to the unique world of Art Style: CUBELLO.
CUBELLO is the second installment to the Art Style series. This game is based on another game titled Coloris, part of the bit Generations series.
Here's my game footage of the game including Tutorial and the first two stages:
I'm lovin' every bit of this game. Reminds me of the time I was addicted to Tetrisphere [N64].
World of Goo (2D Boy, 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone—Comic Mischief, 1,500 Wii Points): World of Goo is an award-winning, physics-based puzzle/construction game made entirely by two guys. Grab living, squirming, talking globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins and giant tongues. The millions of Goo Balls that live in the beautiful World of Goo are curious to explore—but they don’t know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious. World of Goo Corporation is contractually obligated to state that everyone is a winner, and is enthusiastic to celebrate everyone’s Goo building opportunities equally. Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_of_Goo Vimeo Trailer:
SECRET OF MANA (Super NES™, 1-3 players, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older—Mild Fantasy Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes, 800 Wii Points): Good and evil battle for a young warrior’s heart. There is one force in the universe that keeps good and evil in perfect balance. It is called the tree of Mana. But a magic sword has tricked a young warrior into upsetting this balance, spreading evil throughout the land. Thus, the warrior must undertake a dangerous journey to find the seeds of the Mana tree, which have been hidden for centuries. Only then can perfect harmony be restored. In this incredible adventure, things are not as they seem. Magic swords release evil as well as fight it. Treasure chests hold booby traps. Monsters are friends and friends are enemies. Potions give power, black magic takes it away. Dragons fly, weapons change. It’s a world turned upside down that you must help the warrior make right. And the only way to succeed is to solve the Secret of Mana. Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_of_mana
STREET FIGHTER II’: SPECIAL CHAMPION EDITION (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, Rated T for Teen—Violence, 800 Wii Points): STREET FIGHTER II’: SPECIAL CHAMPION EDITION was the first STREET FIGHTER game released for the Sega Genesis console. The STREET FIGHTER series can be considered one of the first fighting games to popularize competitive video game fighting. This version of the game contains both the CHAMPION and HYPER rule sets, from the two editions released in the arcades. It also introduced an exclusive Group Battle mode that is now a general feature in most fighting games. Play as one of 12 different characters, each with their own distinctive fighting style. Try single-player mode or challenge a friend in this legendary, classic fighting game. Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Fighte...hampion_Edition YouTube - Old-School 90s Commercials:
